Friends of Felines

Reality makes me sick - and it's worse for the cats!

Well, as kitten showers start area wide, the phone was ringing off the hook this morning with "cat calls." One elderly lady told me that last month's population control was her son coming out and shooting 8 cats, and he would do so again if things didn't change. My yummy oatmeal started churning in my stomach..... Over 22 cats and none fixed!!! With money for 2-4 more clinics, I worry about the future ......... People, PLEASE! There are few to zero homes for these kits that turn into reproduction machines in as little as 5 months! Feed + NO Fix = energy for MORE CATS! Feed LESS (use money for FIX) = Less Cats and Better Conditions! Donate today to help control and decrease our cat over-population with surgery not slaughter!!!

FOF - OVER 100 Cats!!!!

In less than 1 year, Friends of Felines has helped 100 cats get Spayed & Neutered AND a rabies shot. These cats are now enjoying the possibility of longer, healthier lives and are making a direct impact on our local population density issues. Still there are TENS of THOUSANDS of cats that need assistance in North State. As animal lovers in general, and specifically cat lovers, and people of conscience, it is up to us to continue to practice and educate about Spay/Neuter of pets AND Trap Neuter Return (TNR) of Ferals. Unfortunately, the need for low-cost spay/neuter is so great that spay/neuter is our focus. We dream and pray for the day when we can help with fostering and adopting of cats. Please consider a donation of any amount to help with this worthy cause. Click on "donate" and comment FOF or CATS. 100% of your tax-deductible contribution will go directly to the costs of spay/neuter and a rabies shot for un-altered cats. Thank you for caring about making a more purrrfect world!!! Sharon for FOF
