Have you ever looked at a dog and thought oh he/she looks mean. I don't want that dog. Or have you looked at one and said thats a pit bull I don't want it. Well I am here to tell you from experience that you shouldn't judge a dog by it's looks or breed. Some of the meanest looking dogs that have come into the shelter have turned out to be the sweetest, most loving dogs you could ask for. Take for example Riley, a brindle pit mix. Some fool decided to crop Rileys ears, instead he cut the whole ear off. So when you look at Riley he looks kind of like a bear. Well he is a bear, a teddy bear. He even talks like a bear. But he is loving and sweet. Then there is Junior a stocky blue pit. He looks tough and he looks like a buff version of The Dog Whisperers dog Jr. There for he is our Junior. Also sweet and loving and very well mannered. So please before you judge a dog get to know it. Give it a chance. You just might find your new best friend.
