Memphis was surrendered to the shelter totally unsocialized with people and other dogs. Even though we worked with him and he improved, we couldn't give him the time, attention, and training that he would require to integrate into a new home.

We are fortunate to have a foster home who works with those hard to place dogs where diligent time, training, and assessment can be done.

After 6 months, Memphis went to his new home today. His new family drove over 3 hours just to meet him, spend time with him, and then turn around and drive another 3 hours. But Memphis is the dog they have been searching for.
