Training class update... with a great big THANKS to 'Barns by Harrah's'

Barns by Harrah's - Corning, CA.

Training Classes will be starting again, Feb 27th. Until the weather is better, training is held at Barns by Harrah’s on 99W.  Barns by Harrah’s have been very gracious in letting us use their facilities to keep out of the rain so we can continue our Saturday classes.  When they sold the barn we were meeting in they let us have class in the store.  Quite an experience since the "barn cat" came to see what was going on and we got to see which dogs were not cat friendly!  We encourage all to stop in and see what the Barns by Harrah’s store has to offer in pet and equine supplies along with clothing, fencing and barns.

Second Chance offers puppy and adult dog training classes.  The classes are 6 week courses and pre-registration is required.  Call us to make a reservation for your dog and see our class schedule HERE.

We wanted to share part of an e-mail we received from Teresa M. about her dogs, Trusty and Bella, and the progress Trusty made even though he wasn’t able to complete the 6 week training course due to a personal medical crisis in Teresa’s family.  Teresa will be coming back to training soon, now that the crisis is over.

Here is what Teresa said about her dog Trusty:

“...In the mean time, I did want to share that a week or so ago I took Bella and Trusty to
get groomed in Red Bluff. (Their regular groomer).  I didn't mention anything

about the class.  When I went back to pick them up, she said Trusty was like
"night and day."  She said he did so well and couldn't believe how he just let
her groom him.  I shared with her about the course.  So I thought you and

Stephania would appreciate that story.
Maybe in the future we can continue working with him (because he does still
have a ways to go), but in the mean time, I just wanted to say Thanks.  It was

nice to be able to take him to the groomer. :)”.
